After breakfast at the hotel, welcomed by the guide and you will be sent to the Yangon domestic airport for the flight to Kawthaung.

Welcome in Kawthaung by a hotel representative and then a non-custodial transfer to the port of Kawthaung (about 15 minutes). Embark on board a speedboat and sail to your hotel (2-3 hrs) at Pila Island. Pila Island – Located 80 km from the shoreline of Kawthaung, on the northernmost beach, Pila surrounded by virgin forest with views out to the open Andaman Sea. The natural bay embraces a 600-metre-long beachfront, which is divided into two zones by a large rock formation. Beyond the beach is a highly forested area with a variety of trees which provides the guest suites protection from the natural environment. The adjacent hillside around the bay is accessible by trails, opening up to guest opportunities for exploration of the island’s unique flora and fauna. Access is also provided to the fisherman’s bay which will give guests a taste of the local sea fairing culture and other water sports activities.

Legend of Pila – A great mythological flood broke the islands into 800 mostly uninhabited, limestone and granite islands. Pila Island is one of the islands created from this legend and Pulo Pankyup and west of Rocky Islet. Pila has an elevation of 29 meters. Destinations nearby to Pila include Rocky Islet and Pulo Set. Among the residents of the Mergui Archipelago are about 2,000 Moken, a nomadic ethnic minority who live in boats and are thought to have migrated there from southern China around 4,000 years ago.

Another option is to fly to Ranong Airport. There are daily flights from Bangkok’s domestic airport by Nok Air and Air Asia. From Kawthaung, you will take a longtail boat across the Pakchan River to Ranong.
